"The apartment is in a really wonderful location. Great bakeries, restaurants, cafes, and shops are all very close by. The interior decoration is very individual & reflects the building's history. The main bedroom, en-suite bathroom & sitting room are very well appointed. It was great to have a washer/dryer! The location is very convenient for seeing the sights of Paris - close the Metro - and easy stroll to the banks of the Seine. Good communication from the owners/housekeeper."

"We were a party of 4 over 60s - 2 couples. Although we did enjoy our stay, and the apartment has a lot going for it, we have a few observations: 1. There were only 3 mugs, no teacups & just a few espresso cups. The amount of crockery overall is inadequate for 4, especially if you intend to cook. This seemed at odds with the dining table, which has seating for 6. Oddly, there was no corkscrew (but lots of wine glasses). There was no teatowel or handtowel or appliance instruction for the cooker, dishwasher, or washing machine. 2. The second 'bedroom' is actually a double sofa bed in a room adjacent to the sitting room. The room is very nice & of a good size, but the bed sofa is positioned in a corner & up against the window. We were unable to open the window, which, given the hot weather, was uncomfortable. One person has to climb over the other to get in/out of the bed. Not the end of the world but not what we'd expected (perhaps we should have paid more attention to the photos!). There are no bedside tables or lamps, nor was there a set of drawers. There was a double wardrobe, but half of it was full of extra bedding. Oddly, the quilt on the bed is a single, placed across the bed. It was OK for 3 nights, but we would have found it uncomfortable for any longer. This room felt like an afterthought to increase the number of guests rather than a specific bedroom space. The second bathroom is OK- functional and clean - but quite small. In may ways, it felt more like an apartment for 2 not 4 3. There was a single, freestanding air-conditioning unit in the main bedroom, but nothing in the sitting room or in the additional 'bedroom'. Some fans would have been very useful, especially in the second 'bedroom' where we couldn't open the window."
